StudioWed Venue Tour Recap

Many of my bridal event ideas come out of the needs of my clients. So many couples have a hard time scheduling tours after work hours and making it around our big city of Atlanta. So, we organized the StudioWed Venue Tour Series, which allowed couples to see multiple venues on weekends, transported around the city, while enjoying the VIP treatment from venues. Here is a recap of the tours!

(Photos below from Blue World Studios )

Each tour started with breakfast at StudioWed, catered by Endive.

Couples toured the studio and mingled with vendors

Atlantic Limo provided the comfy transportation around the city!

Couples received a hard hat tour at the brand new 200 Peachtree

This is going to be a grand space once completed

Cator Woolford hosted an early spring tour complete with mimosas and fruit!

Atlanta National Golf Club spoiled our couples with martinis and lunch!

The Four Seasons such an elegant venue, indulged our guests in a chocolate and dessert bar.

Our couples were one of the first to see the brand new 28th floor terrace at the Peachtree Club

Opera, always high in drama and ambiance, did not disappoint with yummy appetizers, desserts, and drinks

The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, with it’s incomparable service, went above and beyond with specialty cocktails, appetizers, and even managed to sneak cookies for the couples on the bus as a special treat!

This is just a sampling of the 24 venues that hosted the tours. Our couples so enjoyed being pampered at some of Atlanta’s best wedding venues. We hope to do the tours again in the Fall. Be sure to sign up for the StudioWed mailing list to be kept up to date with our events. Atlanta Wedding Design – Nancy & Andrew Part 2

Nancy and Andrew’s reception took place at the JW Marriott Buckhead.

The escort cards featured the wedding’s design motif, and were displayed on a purple crystal lace linen.

The couple’s monogram was displayed on a draped wall behind the sweetheart table

To reflect the ‘Spanish Romance’ theme of the wedding, custom linens were made to give a hint of Spanish culture, including this purple ruffle lace

Each guest received a menu card with a love quote in different languages to reflect the couple’s heritage, and to keep a hint of romance in the details

After dinner, guests were able to enjoy pastries and a candy buffet in dessert cabanas that we created with drape and lounge furniture.

The pillows were custom made and featured the same lace from the guest tables

The candy buffet featured an assortment of candy in the wedding colors

The gorgeous cake table linen was made to resemble the bride’s wedding gown

Here is the bride’s dance with her father, Dikembe Mutombo

And Nancy and Andrew’s first dance

This wedding was so romantic and full of custom details that reflected the couple’s heritage and personalities. It was such an honor to work with Nancy and Andrew and bring their wedding vision to life. Thanks to all my vendors who worked so hard to make this wedding flawless:

Atlanta Wedding Design – Nancy & Andrew Part 1

In our first consultation, Nancy and Andrew told me they wanted their guests to fall in love at their wedding. In addition, they wanted to incorporate their African heritage and love of Spanish culture.¬† I was instantly inspired to design a wedding that was romantic and memorable. Thus, this became the ‘Spanish Romance’ wedding.

The invitation and ceremony program, designed by Ink & Paint, featured the wedding colors of purple and navy, and a design motif that we used throughout the wedding.

Here are the photos from the ceremony, which took place on a beautiful day in November

Thanks to Ross Oscar Knight for all the photos. Up next…the reception!
